Four enemy missiles hit civilian airfield in Kharkiv region

On June 4, Russian troops fired four missiles at a civilian airfield in Kharkiv region, damaging planes and hangars.

This was reported on Facebook by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, according to Ukrinform.

"According to the inquiry, on the night of June 4, 2022, Russian forces fired four missiles at a civilian airfield in Kharkiv region. As a result, several hangars and civil aircraft were damaged," the statement said.

The prosecutor's office noted that as top-priority in crime scene investigation, missile fragments were discovered and retrieved from the site as evidence.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into violation of the laws of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As Ukrinform reported, law enforcement opened 18 criminal proceedings in connection with Russian shelling in Donetsk region early June, which killed three civilians.
