Russian troops shell border settlement in Chernihiv region

Early on May 14, Russian troops fired on a border settlement in the Chernihiv region.

According to Ukrinform, the Operational Command North reported this on Facebook.

"This morning the occupiers fired at a border settlement in Chernihiv region from Russian territory. At about 06:30, a report was received that eight explosions (tentatively from a mortar) had been recorded on the outskirts of Bleshnia," the statement reads.

There are no losses among personnel and equipment, the report said.

Late on May 13, servicemen of the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service recorded five explosions on the outskirts of a border village in the Shostka district, Sumy region. The enemy fired at the border area of the Sumy region using unguided air missiles.

Fragments of missiles were found on the ground. No one was injured in the shelling.
