Russian drones strike facility in Trostianets, two injured

Russian drones attacked a facility in Trostianets, Sumy region; a man and a woman were injured.

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“Today, Russian drones attacked a facility in Trostianets. Unfortunately, one of the drones struck the facility’s grounds, while another was successfully shot down by our air defense forces,” he said.

According to Hryhorov, two people were injured. Specifically, a 40-year-old man who was injured in the attack was hospitalized; his life is not in danger. A 42-year-old woman is suffering from an acute stress reaction and is receiving outpatient treatment.

As the head of the Regional Military Administration noted, this is the second time this year that Russian forces have attacked the premises of the American company Mondelez, located in the Sumy region. “The enemy is deliberately targeting a civilian enterprise where people work and produce goods for consumers in Ukraine and around the world,” he added.

As reported by Ukrinform, gas networks were damaged in Bilopillia, Sumy region, as a result of shelling.
