Priest was killed by Russian shelling in Luhansk region

Russian invaders shelled the village of Mykhailivka near Rubizhne, killing a priest in the strike.

This was announced on Telegram by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai, according to Ukrinform.

"Yesterday the orcs opened fire on villages near Rubizhne. Having suffered a devastating wound, the acting chief of St. Elijah's Monastery Barbarian and rector of the church of St. Theodosius of Chernihiv in Mykhailivka, hieromonk Parthenius died," wrote the head of the region.

He reminded that at least 15 places of worship in Luhansk region had been damaged by enemy shelling since the end of February. More church ministers were wounded in the region.

As reported, Luhansk region is constantly subjected to Russian strikes. Numerous residential buildings, infrastructure and educational facilities were destroyed in the region. All hospitals in the area have been damaged.
