We notice shift in balance of actions on front line this year – Zelensky
This year there has been a noticeable shift in the balance of actions along the front line, and in particular today the indicators of active operations by the Defense Forces exceeded those of the Russians over the course of the day.
According to Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in his evening address.
"I also want to thank our warriors today – those who are currently on the frontline, every combat brigade. A lot has been done this year, and the shift in the balance of actions on the battlefield is visible. In particular, today's activity indicators show that there were more Ukrainian active operations over the past 24 hours than Russian operations. And this is a significant result. We will increase all forms of supplies for our army – drones, UGVs, shells, and all resources needed to maintain proper defense and our active operations on the frontline," the head of state noted.
As reported by Ukrinform, according to information from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi as of April 23, since the beginning of February the Defense Forces of Ukraine have liberated more than 480 square kilometers of territory from Russian invaders.
