Rescuers conducted mine clearance operations at 10 sites in Lysychansk

During the past 24hrs, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have eliminated explosive items at 10 sites in Luhansk region.

The State Emergency Service said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"During the past 24 hours, on April 19, pyrotechnic workers checked more than ten addresses in the city of Lysychansk, where there were exploded and unexploded items," the report says.

As Ukrinform reported, a group pyrotechnic workers of the State Emergency Service destroyed 1,745 explosive devices, including one aviation bomb, in the past 24 hours.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
