Russian invaders hurl grenade at civilians in Trostianets, killing two

Russian invaders hurled a grenade at civilians in the city of Trostianets, the Sumy region, killing two men.

That's according to the Facebook page of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, Ukrinform reports.

"Under the procedural control of the Okhtyrka District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is underway into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to the investigation, on March 18, 2022, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, using means prohibited by international law, threw a grenade at people on one of the streets of Trostianets. Two men were killed in the explosion," the statement said.

The pre-trial investigation will be carried out by the investigators of the police department No. 1 (Trostianets) of the Okhtyrka district police department.

Trostianets is temporarily under the control of Russian troops. The invaders are committing war crimes in the city, looting and terrorizing the local population.
