President’s Office plans to implement weekly initiatives to support economy

The Ukrainian President's Office plans to implement weekly initiatives to support the Ukrainian economy.

Deputy Head of the President's Office Rostyslav Shurma said this during a nationwide telethon broadcast by Ukrainian TV channels, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"I think we will develop and implement several new initiatives every week, and all of them will focus on simplifying the tax system, further filling it with financing and liquidity, stimulating job creation," Shurma said.

According to him, a program of compensation to employers for keeping and creating jobs is currently being prepared. The Office is developing a state program for the reconstruction of Ukraine, which will also create additional jobs.

As Ukrinform reported, according to the Ministry of Economy, 75% of businesses have stopped working in the areas where hostilities are taking place.

The war with Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.
