Pregnant woman, injured in airstrike on maternity hospital in Mariupol, dies

One of the pregnant women injured in the airstrike on a maternity hospital in Mariupol on March 9 died along with her unborn child. 

"The first pregnant girl on the video/photo reports from the bombing site of the children's hospital number three in Mariupol (maternity hospital), which was carried on a stretcher, did not survive. And her unborn child did not survive," wrote VoA reporter Asya Dolina.

According to Dolina, this information was confirmed by photographer Yevheniy Maloletka who was there during the evacuation of women and took photos for the AP.

Another woman, Marianna Pidhurska, whose photos were also made during the shelling of the Mariupol maternity hospital, is alive and gave birth to a baby girl on March 10.
