Russian invasion update: Kozhedub Air Force University comes under shelling in Kharkiv

The situation regarding the Russian invasion

Russian invaders have shelled Kharkiv-based Ivan Kozhedub National Air Force University, an Ukrinform correspondent reports, referring to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv has been continuously suffering from shelling launched by the Russian military.

In the morning of March 1, 2022, Russian invaders launched a missile strike on Freedom Square, killing at least seven people, who were staying within Kharkiv Regional State Administration. Missile and artillery strikes were also launched on residential houses in such districts as Pivnichna Saltivka, Nova Bavaria and downtown Kharkiv.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. The Russian military are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities and housing sectors across Ukrainian cities and villages.
