Over 81 bln cu m of gas transported to Europe via Ukraine's GTS this year

In January-November 2019, Ukraine transported 81.5 billion cubic meters of gas to European countries and Moldova, up 3% compared to the same period last year.

"81.5 billion cubic meters of gas were transported through the territory of Ukraine from the Russian Federation to European countries and Moldova since the beginning of the year. The transit volumes increased by 2.3 billion cubic meters, or 3%, compared to the corresponding period last year," JSC "Ukrtransgaz" reports.

It is noted that 22.7 billion cubic meters of gas have been transported to Ukrainian consumers of all categories since the beginning of the year, down 6% compared to the same period in 2018.

The contract for the transit of Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine expires on December 31, 2019. The parties are currently in talks to sign a new agreement.
