Russian shelling kills two, injures 11 in Kharkiv region

Over the past day, Russian forces shelled the regional center and 13 other settlements in the Kharkiv region, killing two people and leaving 11 others injured.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"During the past day, the city of Kharkiv and 13 settlements across the region came under enemy fire. As a result, two people were killed, including a child. Eleven others were injured, among them two children," Syniehubov said.

In Kharkiv, a 46-year-old woman and a 2-year-old girl were injured. In the village of Odnorobivka (Zolochiv community), an 8-year-old boy was killed and a 3-year-old boy, a 40-year-old man, and a 37-year-old woman were injured. In the village of Prykolotne (Vilkhuvatka community), a 66-year-old man was wounded. In Kupiansk, a 59-year-old man was killed, and a 56-year-old man, a 57-year-old woman, and two 65-year-old women were injured. In the village of Shyroke (Blyzniuky community), a 27-year-old woman sustained injuries.

According to Syniehubov, Russian forces attacked the Shevchenkivskyi and Novobavarskyi districts of Kharkiv with eight drones. Across the region, the enemy launched 23 unguided aerial rockets, four glide bombs, and 47 drones of various types.

In Kharkiv, the shelling damaged 14 apartment buildings, a sports complex, a dental clinic, a cafe, two shops, a non-residential building, and four vehicles.

In the village of Prykolotne (Kupiansk district), damage was reported to a private house, a Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) facility, a private enterprise, a warehouse, a non-residential building, and two vehicles. In Kupiansk, an ambulance vehicle, 12 private homes, and a garage were affected.

Additional damage included a private home in the village of Malyi Burluk, two cars, two tractors, and a private home in the village of Shypuvate, two warehouse buildings of a company in the village of Velykyi Burluk, two non-residential buildings in the village of Borivske; a private home in the village of Pisky-Radkivski and four houses in Balakliia (Izium district), a cultural center in the village of Yurchenkove (Chuhuiv district), and a vehicle in the village of Odnorobivka (Bohodukhiv district).
