Russians attack Nikopol with heavy artillery

On August 31, 2023, Russian troops opened fire on the Dnipropetrovsk region’s city of Nikopol with heavy artillery.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the afternoon, the enemy shelled Nikopol with heavy artillery. [Russian] projectiles caused damage to four detached houses, one household building, two power transmission lines, and one gas pipeline,” the report states.

Fortunately, civilians remained unharmed.

A reminder that, on the night of August 31, 2023, Russian invaders attacked the Synelnykove district’s Velyka Mykhailivka community. Two houses and a power transmission line were reported damaged.
