More than 25 combat engagements were recorded in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka sectors over the past day.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in an evening update published on Facebook.

According to the update, throughout the day, the Russian military used S-300 guided missiles and Iranian-made Shahed attack drones against Ukraine. Units of Ukraine's air defense forces destroyed five Shahed attack UAVs.

Some of the attack UAVs hit industrial facilities and infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions.

Also, the Russians launched 34 air strikes and carried out 42 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems. In particular, eight civilians were killed and 13 wounded in Russian shelling of the city of Lyman.

The probability of the enemy launching missile and air strikes on targets across Ukraine remains high.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian combat aircraft launched seven strikes on areas of concentration of the aggressor's manpower. Ukrainian rocket and artillery units, in turn, hit 11 artillery pieces, an ammunition depot, three air defense systems and two electronic warfare stations of the Russian troops.
