About 50 buildings in Kyiv remain without heat
In Kyiv, about 50 out of 6,000 buildings remain without heating after the Russian attack on January 9.
According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported this on Telegram.
“I visited one of the heating companies' support points this morning, from where teams are leaving to repair and restore heating networks and boiler rooms. Utility workers are working around the clock,” the mayor said.
According to him, “about 50 out of 6,000 buildings are currently without heat, having been left without heat supply after the enemy's attack on Kyiv's critical infrastructure on January 9.”
City services continue to work 24/7 to restore infrastructure damaged by the enemy in order to provide Kyiv residents with the necessary services, Klitschko emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, as of the evening of January 16, 67 high-rise buildings in Kyiv remained without heat.
