Shmyhal and Tusk pay tribute to fallen soldiers in Kyiv

The Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Poland, Denys Shmyhal and Donald Tusk, laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen Ukrainian Defenders on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv.

Shmyhal reported this on Facebook and posted the relevant photos, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, "today, on the Day of Unity of Ukraine, together with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, we honored the memory of the defenders of Ukraine who fell in the war."

"Our struggle against the Russian aggressor is a struggle for freedom and values of the entire democratic world," Shmyhal emphasized.

"I am grateful for the support of our partners who stand shoulder to shoulder with the Ukrainian people in this war," the Prime Minister added.

As Ukrinform reported, Tusk arrived on a visit to Ukraine on January 22.
