Another radiation shelter being built in Kyiv region

A radiation shelter is being built in the Fursy Lyceum in the Bila Tserkva district of the Kyiv region.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reported.

It is noted that the work is being carried out at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.

 As of today, preparatory work has been completed, including the construction of a pit and concrete preparation. The construction of the monolithic foundation is underway. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

Fursy Lyceum has more than 400 students. The school has five inclusive classes, so it has installed ramps and equipped a resource room.

Currently, there is a simple shelter on the territory of the educational institution, which can accommodate up to 50 people at a time. The educational process is organized in shifts.

As reported earlier, more than 13,000 facilities damaged in the hostilities have been restored in the Kyiv region.
