President visits rehabilitation departments treating Ukrainian defenders in Odesa

During a working trip to Odesa region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky observed the work of rehabilitation departments in medical institutions where Ukraine's defenders undergo physical rehabilitation and recovery programs.

In particular, one of these facilities in Odesa has a modern 30-bed department for military personnel, which allows Ukrainian warriors to undergo rehabilitation treatment already now, the President’s Office informs.

The President talked to the defenders who are undergoing rehabilitation in the institution and wished them health and a speedy recovery.

Another medical rehabilitation center was overhauled and re-equipped.

Zelensky was told that this facility provides comprehensive medical rehabilitation for military and civilians wounded by explosions, shelling, and bombing, as well as restores their physical and psychological condition.

Its specialists are constantly studying and adopting the European experience of comprehensive medical rehabilitation in inpatient conditions.

The Head of State spoke with medical workers from different parts of Ukraine and congratulated them on their professional holiday on behalf of the entire Ukrainian nation.

"Today, in different cities of our country, we are congratulating doctors, both military and civilians. From different parts of our country. We are grateful to you for the help you provide to our military and civilians," he emphasized.

Zelensky thanked the medics for their selfless work, experience and professionalism.

The President also presented state awards to military and civilian medical workers.
