Rescuers deliver 22 tons of water to Zaporizhzhia community

Employees of the State Emergency Service delivered 22 tons of water to the residents of the Bilenkivska community in the Zaporizhzhia district.

"After the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station was blown up, we turned to international charitable organizations and the RMA to help us buy pipes and pumps to continue the water supply. All these works have already been completed, but since there may be some technical issues, we have asked the State Emergency Service to bring water to the community in case of power outages. We want our residents to be provided with water," said Alla Kryshtal, deputy head of the Bilenkivska community.

According to her, today rescuers delivered 22 tons of drinking water to the community.

It is noted that six special water tanks have been installed in three villages of the community. In addition, there is a supply of bottled water in case of interruptions.

As reported, as a result of a man-made disaster caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station by the Russians, there is a critical situation with the supply of drinking water to civilians in some settlements of the Zaporizhzhia district.
