New daily COVID-19 cases in Kyiv exceed 4,500 – Klitschko

Kyiv city recorded 4,584 new COVID-19 cases on February 14, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page

“Some 4,584 coronavirus cases have been confirmed (411,576 in total),” the mayor wrote.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv over the course of the past day are 2,590 women aged 18-91 years, 1,596 men aged 18-99 years, 169 girls and 229 boys aged between two months and 17 years.

Kyiv also recorded fifteen deaths related to COVID-19 (8,770 in total).

According to Klitschko, 84 patients with coronavirus, 184 patients with suspected COVID-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized on February 14. At the same time, 1,724 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 350,397 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 29,724 new COVID-19 cases on February 14.
