Odesa airport resumes flights to Berlin, Budapest, and Minsk

Today, June 15, the administration of Odesa International Airport has resumed scheduled flights to Berlin, Budapest and Minsk, which were not operated for several months due to the introduction of quarantine measures by the Government.

"We publish the flight schedule for the period from 15 to 28 June 2020. In particular, Belavia [operates flights to] Minsk, flights will be operated daily; Wizz Air [operates flights to] Berlin, every Wednesday and Sunday; to Budapest, every Monday and every Friday," the press service of the Odesa International Airport posted on Facebook.

The airport’s administration also specifies that Windrose airlines and Ukraine International Airlines operate Kyiv-Odesa-Kyiv scheduled flights under conditions of adaptive quarantine.

As reported, on March 12, the Government introduced the quarantine in Ukraine to counteract the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. In particular, trading establishments were closed except groceries, pharmacies, gas stations, and banks. The operation of subway in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro, municipal, intercity, and interregional road, rail, and air transport services were suspended. On March 28, Ukraine completely closed its border for scheduled passenger services, including air services.

Currently, the adaptive quarantine is in force in Ukraine until June 22.
