Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has started his working trip to Warsaw from visiting the Wolski cemetery, where he lit a candle at the monument to Holodomor victims and laid a wreath at the graves of officers and cossacks of the army of the Ukrainian People’s Republic (1917-21).

As an Ukrinform correspondent reports, Jerzy Rejt, former Chair of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland told the minister about the Ukrainians buried in this cemetery.

During his visit to Warsaw, Klimkin, in particular, will hold talks with Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and speak at the Warsaw Security Forum. In addition, the minister will deliver a speech at the Polish Institute of International Affairs on the topic “European Security in the World after 2014” and meet with representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in the Republic of Poland. The Ukrainian minister is also expected to meet with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó at the Warsaw Security Forum.
