Zelensky appoints Ukraine's Ambassador to Kingdom of Bahrain

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Oleksandr Balanutsa as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The relevant decree No. 333/2026 dated April 22 was published on the President's website, Ukrinform reports.

"Appoint Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Balanutsa, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Arab Emirates, as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Bahrain concurrently," the document states.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky also appointed Ihor Brusyl as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Italian Republic.
