Office of President refutes fake news about three more years of war: No such statements made
The Office of the President has refuted claims by Russian media that President Volodymyr Zelensky allegedly stated that the war will continue for another 3 years.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the President's Communications Advisor Dmytro Lytvyn to journalists.
“There was no such conversation with advisors and no negative comments about the negotiations, nor was there such a task about ‘three more years of war’; this is simply a stupid fake,” Lytvyn said.
According to him, fake information is spreading primarily on Telegram channels.
As reported, following negotiations in Geneva, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that progress had been made on military issues, namely monitoring the ceasefire, but that the parties' positions remained different on political matters, including territories, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and other sensitive issues.
The president also stressed that he was awaiting a detailed report from the Ukrainian delegation.
