Latvia’s FM: Russia terrorizing Ukrainians to freeze them to death

Latvia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, has strongly criticized Russia for its deliberate strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

As reported by Ukrinform, she wrote about this on the social media platform X.

“Russia attacked Ukraine’s energy sector, high-voltage transmission, key substations, with an impact on nuclear power generation. This is terror against Ukraine’s people to freeze them to death,” the post says.

She added that Latvia is sending new assistance to Ukraine and is advocating for massive sanctions against Russia.
