Next round of US-Ukraine-Russia talks scheduled for Feb 1 – journalist

The next round of trilateral talks involving the United States, Ukraine, and Russia is scheduled for February 1. The meeting will take place, as before, in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.

Axios journalist Barak Ravid announced this on X, citing a U.S. official, Ukrinform reports.

"Trilateral negotiations between U.S., Russia and Ukraine will resume next Sunday (8 days from now) in Abu Dhabi," Ravid wrote.

On January 23, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with Ukraine's negotiation team the topics and desired outcomes of the trilateral meeting in the UAE. He noted that the Ukrainian team had taken into account the fact that formats in the negotiations could vary.

The Ukrainian delegation was led by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov.
