Witkoff, Kushner to represent U.S. at Ukraine talks in Paris
The White House has named the members of the U.S. delegation who will take part in talks on a peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine, scheduled to take place this week in Paris.
According to Ukrinform, Reuters reported this, citing a White House official.
President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner will represent the United States at talks on Ukraine in Paris this week.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine, together with its partners from the Coalition of the Willing, will finalize a document on security guarantees during a meeting in Paris on January 6, held at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The document is expected to serve as a basis for further negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will take part in the Coalition of the Willing meeting in Paris on January 6, with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also joining the leaders’ talks.
