Zelensky announces upcoming meetings in Europe as “another contribution” to Ukraine’s defense
He shared this in an evening video address posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“We are already preparing for the next diplomatic week as well – there will be meetings in Europe that must become yet another contribution to our defense and to hastening the end of the war. Ukraine will be prepared for both possible paths ahead – diplomacy, which we are pursuing, or continued active defense if the pressure from our partners on Russia proves insufficient,” Zelensky said.
The President emphasized that Ukraine seeks peace but will not give up its strength to anyone. He expressed gratitude to everyone working for the state and defending Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky previously noted that the effectiveness of the Coalition of the Willing depends on participants’ readiness for military presence in Ukraine.
During a Paris meeting with partners from the Coalition, Ukraine plans to finalize a security guarantees document that will form the basis for further negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump.
