France sees no solid evidence of “Ukrainian attack” on Putin’s residence – Le Monde

There is no credible evidence of a Ukrainian attack on President Vladimir Putin’s residence, while the continuation and intensification of Russian strikes against Ukraine point to an undermining of international diplomatic efforts.

This was stated on Tuesday by a source close to French President Emmanuel Macron, speaking to Le Monde, Ukrinform reports.

“There is no solid evidence to corroborate the serious accusations made by the Russian authorities, even after cross-checking information with our partners,” the source said, adding that the Russian authorities are contradicting themselves regarding what actually happened.

“The continuation and intensification of Russian strikes is in itself an act of defiance against President [Donald] Trump 's peace agenda,” the source close to the French President stated.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky previously said that information about strikes on Putin’s Valdai residence is a fake invented by Russia to derail successful negotiations on ending the war.
