US National Intelligence chief denies Reuters report claiming Russia’s plans to seize all of Ukraine remain unchanged

Director of the US Office of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has refuted a recent Reuters report that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin has not changed his military goals of capturing all of Ukraine in four years of full-scale war.

She wrote about this on social media X, according to Ukrinform.

"Deep State warmongers and their Propaganda Media are again trying to undermine President Trump’s efforts to bring peace to Ukraine—and indeed Europe—by falsely claiming that the ‘U.S. intelligence community’ agrees to and supports EU/NATO viewpoint that Russia’s aim is to invade/conquer Europe (in order to gin up support for their pro-war policies)," Gabbard said.

According to her, the truth is that US intelligence assesses that Russia does not even have the capability to conquer and occupy Ukraine, let alone “invading and occupying” Europe.

As reported by Ukrinform, Reuters recently published a story citing six sources that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin has not changed his military goals for Ukraine in four years of full-scale war.

“American intelligence continues to warn of Russian leader Vladimir Putin's intentions to seize all of Ukraine and return parts of Europe that belonged to the former Soviet empire,” the sources said.
