Ukrainian president arrives in Germany
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Germany, where he plans, among other things, to meet with the U.S. negotiating team.
The head of state announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"I am already in Germany. Today's agenda includes a meeting with the American negotiating team. We are focusing on how to reliably guarantee Ukraine's security so that the experience of the Budapest Memorandum and Russia's invasion are never repeated. We are counting on constructive talks," Zelensky wrote.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Zelensky said he had not yet received an official response from the United States to the latest proposals regarding the peace plan.
According to him, a "Ukrainian-American day" will take place in Berlin on Sunday, December 14, which will also include a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and other European leaders.
