Zelensky discusses work of Ukrainian negotiating team during meeting with Meloni

President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome and briefed her on the work of the Ukrainian negotiating team.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky wrote about this on Facebook.

"We had an excellent and very substantive discussion on all aspects of the diplomatic situation. We appreciate Italy’s active role in generating practical ideas and defining steps to bring peace closer. I briefed her on the work of our negotiating team, and we are coordinating our diplomatic efforts. We are counting greatly on Italy’s continued support – it matters for Ukraine," Zelensky emphasized.

He expressed separate gratitude for the energy support package and the necessary equipment.

“This is exactly what will support Ukrainian families, our people, children, and everyday life in our cities and communities, which continue to endure constant Russian attacks. We must protect lives. Thank you, Italy!” Zelensky emphasized.
