Zelensky announces “lots of work” with European partners next week
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with Finnish President Alexander Stubb diplomatic prospects ahead of negotiations with partners in the U.S. and Europe.
According to Ukrinform, the head of state reported this on Telegram.
“I am grateful for his support and for the almost daily coordination. We exchanged available information on various aspects of Russia’s position and assessments of current diplomatic prospects. I briefed Alex on what the Ukrainian delegation is preparing for in the talks in the United States, as well as the signals we have received from the American side,” Zelensky said.
He also announced extensive diplomatic work next week.
“This week will involve a lot of work with partners in Europe, and it is important that we all share the same view of the situation and the understanding that pressure on Russia as the sole cause of this war – not on Ukraine – can actually work for peace,” Zelensky emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky stated that thanks to active diplomacy, it is entirely possible in the coming days to refine steps that will help determine how to end the war with dignity.
