Sybiha to take part in EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting on peace plan for Ukraine
Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha will participate in a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, which will take place on Wednesday, November 26, where the peace plan for Ukraine will be discussed.
Sybiha stated this on the social network X, following a phone call with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, according to Ukrinform.
Sybiha noted that he informed Kallas about the consequences of Russia's massive strike on Ukraine, thanked the EU for its constant support of Ukraine, and emphasized the need to further increase pressure on Russia.
In addition, the two exchanged views on recent developments in peace efforts and coordinated next steps.
"I am also grateful for the invitation to attend tomorrow's EU foreign affairs council meeting. This will be a timely opportunity to coordinate efforts to force Russia to end the war and steps to strengthen Ukraine's defense and resilience," he wrote.
As reported earlier, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas is convening a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Wednesday, November 26, to discuss the peace plan for Ukraine.
