Zelensky meets with Fico
President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

After the meeting, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky described the conversation with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico as “substantive.”
“Thank you for the meeting. It is important that we have this dialogue, and we will continue it,” Zelensky said.
The President said that he had informed the Slovak Prime Minister about his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump and the results of the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing.
At the same time, the Head of State noted that the parties should maintain a pragmatic approach to work both at the level of leaders and in intergovernmental cooperation.
Earlier, citing the press service of the Slovak government, it was reported that Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico would meet with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday, September 5, in Uzhhorod, followed by a joint press conference.
In the Zakarpattia region, President Zelensky has already held a bilateral meeting with European Council President António Costa.
