Ukraine preparing for important talks with EU, Zelensky says

The state leadership has already determined the priorities for Ukraine in the coming weeks and is now preparing for important negotiations with the European Union.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an evening address to the nation, Ukrinform reports.

"A special direction is the European Union, relations with our nearest neighbors. We are preparing more interaction and new communication, new important negotiations," he said.

Zelensky noted that work priorities for the coming weeks have already been determined, in particular, there are clear tasks related to strengthening Ukraine's positions at the front, political interaction with partners, and strengthening Ukraine's financial stability.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on Saturday, January 20, Zelensky said that work is currently underway with key international partners regarding new defense support packages for Ukraine to repel the aggressor.
