Ukraine gives EU list of missile manufacturers to be sanctioned within 10th package

Ukraine handed over to its European partners a list of Russian companies involved in the production of missiles, for their inclusion in the 10 EU sanctions package.

This was stated by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, who spoke at a joint meeting of the Ukrainian Government and European Commission, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The 10th package, as per Ukraine, should include a revision of the price cap for Russian oil, blocking sanctions against the production of Russian missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. I sent a letter to my colleague Josep Borrell with Ukraine’s specific proposals and a list of Russian companies involved in the production of Russian missiles," Kuleba said.

He added that Ukraine, on the one hand, is sincerely grateful to its partners for providing air defense systems that allow shooting down these missiles, "but it is also necessary to ‘suppress’ Russia's ability to produce them as much as possible.

"Therefore, we hope that these sanctions will be included in the 10th package," the head of MFA emphasized.

As reported, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during a joint meeting with media in Kyiv with President Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that the European Union will complete work on the 10th package of Russia sanctions by the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
