Kuleba calls on G7, EU to strengthen sanctions against Russia over new missile attack

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has called on the G7 countries and the European Union to introduce tough sanctions against Russia in order to "kill" its ability to produce missiles.

He posted a relevant appeal on his Twitter account on Saturday amid Russia’s massive missile attack on Ukrainian peaceful cities, Ukrinform reports.

“Each barrage of missiles further exhausts Russian stocks. However, they are still able to produce new ones. We can and must kill their missile and drone industry with a mass sanctions strike!” he wrote.

In this context, Kuleba urged G7 and the EU “to implement relevant sanctions proposed by Ukraine without delay.”

As reported by Ukrinform, in the afternoon of January 14, Russian forces struck an apartment block in Dnipro city. At least five people were killed and 27 more, including children, were injured as a result of the attack.
