Ukraine has entered 2023 with a clear understanding of how best to counter the enemy, how to secure the front and hold the rear.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a government meeting on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We’re entering this year with a clear understanding of how to counter the enemy, how to secure supplies to the front, and hold the rear. We must remain united and continue to act as one," Shmyhal said.

The prime minister announced a number of government priorities and main directions in which the country will move in 2023. The key ones were named by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his annual message. First of all, the Prime Minister noted, the government must focus on supplying the Army with all that is needed.

As Ukrinform reported, Shmyhal previously noted that the government allocated more than  UAH 1.2 trillion to the security and defense sector amid the full-scale war unleashed by Russia.
