Turkey-Syria-Russia talks held in Moscow

The Minister of National Defense of Turkey, Hulusi Akar, and chief of national intelligence Hakan Fidan met with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and his Syrian counterpart Ali Mahmud Abbas, as well as intelligence chiefs of the two countries.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the statement by the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey.

"At the meeting, the parties discussed the Syria crisis, refugee problem, and joint efforts to fight all terrorist organizations in Syria," the statement said.

It is also indicated that an agreement was reached to continue meetings in a tripartite format to ensure and maintain stability in Syria and the region as a whole.

As reported by Ukrinform, the U.S. forces have intensified military efforts against ISIS in Syria, conducting almost a dozen high-risk air and ground operations in recent weeks with the aim of eliminating or capturing high-ranking militants operating in the country.
