President’s Office outlines formula for peace: First Russian troops withdrawal, then dialogue

The Russian Federation must first withdraw its troops from Ukraine and only then it is possible to start negotiations with the Russians.

Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the Head of the Ukrainian President's Office, wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Peacemakers’ should look in Oxford dictionary: words ‘negotiations’ and ‘ultimatums’ have diametrically opposite definitions. Ukraine’s formula for peace is simple: first ru-troops withdrawal, then dialogue. If current ru-president does not want peace, we will talk with the next one,” he wrote.

As reported, on October 4, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree ruling out negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
