Ukrainian government approves visa waiver agreement with Indonesia

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved an agreement with the government of the Republic of Indonesia on mutual abolition of visa requirements.

Taras Melnychuk, government’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The agreement provides for the possibility for citizens of the states of the contracting parties, who are holders of valid passports to travel abroad, to enter, transit and stay in the territory of the state of the other party without visas for a period of: up to 30 days during each visit of citizens of Ukraine to Indonesia; up to 30 days within 60 days for trips by citizens of the Republic of Indonesia to Ukraine," Melnychuk wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, in late June, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and his Indonesian counterpart Retno L.P. Marsudi signed an intergovernmental agreement on the abolition of short-stay visa requirements.
