Prime Minister of Ireland visits Borodianka, Bucha, Irpin

Prime Minister of Ireland Micheál Martin, as part of his visit to Ukraine, visited Borodianka, Bucha, and Irpin, which were destroyed by Russian aggression.

Martin began his visit to Kyiv region with a trip to Borodianka, which suffered significant destruction during shelling by Russian troops, RTE reports.

“On the 30-minute drive from the railway station, the Taoiseach [Prime Minister] passed Hostomel airport, where his convoy stopped to observe a demolished bridge,” the article reads.

In addition, Prime Minister Martin visited a mass grave in Bucha and then went to nearby Irpin, where he was shown badly damaged residential buildings struck by Russians.

Later today, Martin is to meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

As reported, Prime Minister of Ireland Micheál Martin arrived on a visit to the Ukrainian capital on Wednesday, July 6.

Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel and the entire Kyiv region were liberated from the Russian invaders at the beginning of April. Mass destruction and brutal murders of civilians by the Russians were recorded in the liberated cities and villages.
