Ambassador Markarova calls on world business to help Ukraine via U24 platform

Ukraine calls on global business to continue to provide active assistance through the UNITED24 platform and to advocate for the cessation of all business and investment activities in Russia.

Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova posted this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Speaking to the global business community at the Washington DC – Baltimore Chapter meeting organized by YPO, Oksana Markarova stressed:

"The new reality came 91 days ago and now has global consequences. All mankind will further feel it. I called on businesses to continue helping through U24 and to advocate for the cessation of all business and investment activities in Russia. The sooner Ukraine wins, the sooner the whole democratic world wins. That is why we must all work together to bring this victory closer."

On May 17, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree to create the United24 national brand to unite the efforts of international partners in support of Ukraine.

During the platform’s operation, more than $36.7 million has been transferred to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine.
