Reznikov: Kremlin recognizes its aggression against Ukraine with decision on self-proclaimed ‘DPR/LPR’

The Kremlin recognized its aggression against Ukraine, not the self-proclaimed “DPR/LPR”

“The Kremlin did not recognize self-proclaimed “DPR/LPR” – Kremlin recognized its own aggression against Ukraine. We remain confident and calm. We are ready and able to defend ourselves and our sovereignty. World cannot be silent. Sanctions?  Another brick in the wall? New Berlin Wall?”  Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov posted on Twitter.

As reported, on February 21, the president of the Russian Federation signed decrees to "recognize" two self-proclaimed entities in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.

At the same time, Putin accused Kyiv of escalating the situation in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, saying that Russia had done everything it could to preserve Ukraine's territorial integrity. Putin ended his speech with a threat to Ukraine, which is allegedly acting aggressively in Donbas.

U.S. President Joe Biden signed a decree blocking the property of certain individuals and banning certain agreements in connection with Russia's efforts to undermine Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
