Dzheppar: Our tactic on way towards NATO is utmost presence in all formats

Ukraine's goal is full-fledged membership in NATO, and our country tries to ensure its utmost presence in all formats on this way.

"Our goal is full-fledged membership in NATO. Our tactic is to be present as much as possible in all formats that Ukraine is allowed to any extent," First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar said during the Marathon of Unity on February 16, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

As an example, the official cited the Enhanced Opportunities Partnership.

"We take this opportunity to be tactically present on all sites, on all platforms," Dzheppar said.

According to her, another element of Ukraine's integration into NATO is the annual national plans which define tasks in all segments of public life.

"It seems to me that we are on the right path, and the issue facing our diplomacy is a red line, which we define as 'there can be no concessions on these issues'," the first deputy minister said.

As reported, on February 14, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna, commenting on the assumption of Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko that Ukraine could refuse to join NATO if circumstances required so, said that "flexibility" in the issue of the European and Euro-Atlantic course was not an option for Ukraine.
