Ukraine seeks to establish international parliamentary assembly of Crimea Platform

Ukraine's strategic goal is to establish the international parliamentary assembly of the Crimea Platform.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk made a corresponding statement during a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria Alexander Schallenberg, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovak Republic Ivan Korčok on February 8.

In particular, Stefanchuk noted that an important area of ​​work this year would be strengthening the parliamentary dimension of the Crimea Platform.

The visit of the foreign ministers is a strong signal of support for Ukraine from the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, and Austria, he stressed.

Stefanchuk also stressed the need to intensify cooperation at the level of "friendship groups" of the legislatures of the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, and Austria, which is "an effective mechanism for developing cooperation between parliaments."
