Kuleba comments on Baerbock's statement on Ukraine's NATO prospects

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba has commented on the statement by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbok, who said that the issue of Ukraine's accession to NATO would not be on the agenda any time soon.

Kuleba wrote about this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"It shouldn’t be on the agenda to question the prospects of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration," Kuleba wrote.

According to the minister, the real support for Ukraine today would be, on the contrary, Germany's leadership in expressing support for Ukraine's membership in NATO.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister added that this would “send a positive signal to everyone.”

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on January 27, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said during an address to the Bundestag at a debate on Russia's military threats to Ukraine that Germany does support Ukraine in the military field, pointing to the latest move to supply 5,000 military helmets.
