Blinken, Le Drian discuss Russian military activity near Ukraine

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian have discussed the Russian military activity in and near Ukraine.

U.S. State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said this, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to the spokesperson, the parties also discussed “their continued ironclad commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

“Le Drian and I discussed our concern over Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. We also discussed joint efforts to address Iran’s nuclear program,” Blinken, in turn, wrote on Twitter.

As Ukrinform reported, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken earlier stated that the United States was monitoring unusual Russian military activity near the Ukrainian border and the possibility of provocations from Moscow.
