Kuleba, USAID administrator discuss expansion of projects in Ukraine

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has discussed with United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Samantha Power the expansion of USAID projects in Ukraine, the ministry’s press service reports.

During an online meeting, Kuleba thanked USAID for its continued support for the internal transformations of Ukraine, the reform efforts of state institutions and civil society.

"The minister expressed Ukraine's interest in increasing the Agency's support for reforms, as well as in expanding USAID projects in the regions of Ukraine bordering the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea," the report reads.

The interlocutors discussed the prospects for USAID support for Ukraine's efforts to create new opportunities for domestic exporters.

Kuleba thanked Power for her work as Permanent Representative of the United States to the UN, when she resolutely stood up for the defense of Ukraine and international law.
